Wheelbarrow can be defined as a machine that is used by levers, farmers, constructions and others for transporting loads to heavy by hand it from one place to another. The objective of this study is to identify the workability of the wheelbarrow in terms of time consuming and kinetic energy. To keep up with the technological advances, the sensor detector was added to detect overload inside the wheelbarrow’s body. The sensor detector can read the weight when user put load inside, after the load more than 60 kg. This product was named as ‘Ezy Wheelbarrow’. The testing was done by using 50kg of brick and sand. The location of testing was run at even area, uneven area and winding area with paved and unpaved roads. Based on the testing, Ezy Wheelbarrow was more ergonomic and saved time compared to the commercial wheelbarrow. Based on observation, the technology was mostly adapted by users. In conclusion, Ezy Wheelbarrow was achieved the objective but need to be improve with automatic system.
