THE STUDY OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE SILT TRAP IN CONSTRUCTION SITE AT MELAKA
Download
- Description:
-
A silt trap is a designated area where water that is contaminated with suspended sediment because of construction activity or water runoff is contained. While the water is in the trap, the sediment can settle to the bottom of the trap until it can be removed. The objective is to identify the types of silt trap and to determine the efficiency of the silt trap that are used at the construction side in terms of water quality parameter (pH, suspended solid (SS), dissolved oxygen (DO), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), chemical oxygen demand (COD), ammonia nitrogen (NH?) based on the standard set by the Water Quality Index (WQI).
