Download
- Description:
-
The utilization of pozzolanic materials in concrete construction is increasing, And this trend is expected to continue in the years ahead because of technological advancement and the desire for sustainable development . One of the additions is drinking straw or Polypropylene Fiber Reinforced (PFR). Fiber Reinforced Concrete can be defined as a composite material consisting of mixtures of cement, mortar or concrete and discontinuous, discrete, uniformly dispersed suitable fibers. Fiber reinforced concrete are of different types and properties with many advantages. Effective consumption of FRC in concrete , It increases the tensile strength of the concrete. It reduce the air voids and water voids the inherent porosity of gel. It increases the durability of the concrete.
