Initially, Flexible Posts damage issues are common, especially in areas where accidents occur frequently. The main objective of this study was to find out the strength of the Slime Flexible Posts to stand back up after being hit by a vehicle. Identify possible problems and also suggest the best way to resolve any problems. The scope of this study covers the effectiveness of slime and sponge as Flexible Posts and the strength of the product against the deterioration of vehicle loads. The study also includes literature review, information gathering from the Public Works Department (JKR), analysis of information obtained and final writing of the study report. Furthermore, the purpose of this product was to reduce the cost of maintaining the Flexible Post replacement and the cost of producing it too cheap simply by using existing products and not having to hire people to produce them all. Based on the results obtained, slime and sponge are selected to produce Flexible Posts. On the whole, the Flexible Posts used previously show a lack of effectiveness in avoiding the impact of faults and folds on the Flexible Posts that could cause future effects such as fractures or ruptures.
