Expanded polystyrene (EPS) is a green material that have been used in nowadays construction. Expanded polystyrene (EPS) has become the choice for a green building construction. In conventional construction, there is a problem in the handling of waste materials so by using suitable material such as expanded polystyrene (EPS) the waste material can be reduced because the material itself can be recycled and reused again. The objectives of this study are to identify the effectiveness of expanded polystyrene (EPS) in terms of thermal temperature and second is to identify the quality of house for green building that use expanded polystyrene (EPS) in Jasin. A test will be conducted to know the temperature of the expanded polystyrene. For the second objective, a questionnaire will be distributed to 80 residents of Mukim Serkam and Mukim Tedong to know their feedback on the construction of the house that was built using expanded polystyrene.
