This project is applied from the existing observation used to make a slump test with existing apparatus slump test set and manual way to measure the slump by a measurement tape. The objective of this project are to innovate the apparatus slump test set that called as ‘Easy Slump Test Set’ for more easier to use when measurement work to avoid any accident such like tamping road fall down into the slump and for more friendly used in construction industry. The cost of ‘Easy Slump Test Set’ is RM 100. This product was made by us under monitoring by Encik Jasni who is owner of S&J Welding Sdn. Bhd. in Kota Tinggi, Johor. The materials used in the making of ‘Easy Slump Test Set’ are mild steel plate, y bar in 10 cm of diameter, round bar, U channel ½ inch, plate bar rod iron, hinge and chainages. All of the materials for this product have special features which are not easily rust because we have done spray out the galvanised paint which is antirust and the product was connected by welding method for make sure all of the part are strong and long last to use. Based on the literature review conducted, the materials used in product are the most ideal and suitable. Whereas for components forming process, a methodology study is used to plan the project’s production process using a flowchart as a guide for project planning and production planning. As a result, the whole project was successfully produced and the effectiveness of the product too with the testing on workability fresh concrete when all the result got same values as existing apparatus slump test set used at all sites testing. Based on these results, the results of the data analysis and discussions that have been conducted, can be summarized that ‘Easy Slump Test Set’ has achieved the objectives that have been discussed. In addition, this product also get a strong support from industry to be a part there.
