U & the colour Green [Unity] - Harmony, co-operation and mutual respect amongst UPIM's staff in normal everyday situation; during or in between tasks/assignments. |

P & the colour Red [Protect] - Always on the edge of our feet and be ready to protect our rights. Pro-active in solving uninvited problems that arise without invitation. |

I & the colour Yellow [Integrity] - Full pledged integrity will be handsomely rewarded as promised based on the five (5) items of Rukun Islam and Rukun Negara. |
